چکیده

The 28 Si(p,p ′ γ 0 X) 24 Mg reaction has been studied at the ITEP accelerator by the hadron-gamma coincidence method for a proton energy of 1 GeV. Two reaction products are detected: a 1368.6-keV γ-ray photon accompanying the transition of the 24 Mg * nucleus from the first excited state to the ground state and a proton p ′ whose momentum is measured in a magnetic spectrometer. The measured distribution in the energy lost by the proton in interaction is attributed to five processes: the direct knockout of a nuclear α cluster, the knockout of four nucleons with a total charge number of 2, the formation of the ∆ Si isobaric nucleus, the formation of the ∆ isobar in the interaction of the incident proton with a nuclear nucleon, and the production of a π meson, which is at rest in the nuclear reference frame. The last process likely corresponds to the reaction of the formation of a deeply bound pion state in the 28 P nucleus. Such states were previously observed only on heavy nuclei. The cross sections for the listed processes have been estimated.

Investigating Different Methods of Closed Shell Pistachios Splitting and Effects of Freezing Prior to Drying on Shell Splitting Percentage

In this study, different methods for shell splitting and the effect of freezing prior to drying on shell splitting percentage of pistachio were investigated. A completely randomized design was used to investigate the effects of different freezing temperatures (0, -6, -12 and -18°C), different drying temperatures (80, 90 and 100°C) and different cultivars (Akbari and Kalehghouchi) on shell split...

تأثیر اسید جیبرلیک بر کاهش ترک خوردگی پوسته پسته، میزان آفلاتوکسین و کیفیت خشک میوه پسته

Green skin (hull) of pistachio fruits is a barrier against the penetration of fungi and insects into the kernel of pistachio. Splitting of husk facilitates the entry of fungi and infection of pistachio kernels during the harvest. So far no effective way has been reported for controlling this problem. To evaluate the effects of gibberellic acid on hull spliting the present research was conducted...

The numerical simulation of compressible flow in a Shubin nozzle using schemes of Bean-Warming and flux vector splitting

Over the last ten years, robustness of schemes has raised an increasing interest among the CFD community. The objective of this article is to solve the quasi-one-dimensional compressible flow inside a “Shubin nozzle” and to investigate Bean-Warming and flux vector splitting methods for numerical solution of compressible flows. Two different conditions have been considered: first, there is a sup...

Three-Phase Modeling of Dynamic Kill in Gas-Condensate Well Using Advection Upstream Splitting Method Hybrid Scheme

Understanding and modeling of three-phase transient flow in gas-condensate wells play a vital role in designing and optimizing dynamic kill procedure of each well that needs to capture the discontinuities in density, geometry, and velocity of phases but also the effect of temperature on such parameters. In this study, two-phase Advection-Upstream-Splitting-Method (AUSMV) hybrid scheme is extend...
